I started writing seriously (well as serious as I can be) in 2004 when I completed an OU course, Fiction Writing, as part of CPD at school. This was followed by the Poetry Writing course and I really enjoyed these challenges. I enjoy writing poetry and children's fiction and was amazed and delighted to win first prize in the 'under sevens' category at SAW in 2010 with 'Witch Magic'. Being a member of AWC has stretched me to consider writing drama and non fiction
