Welcome to Ayr Writers' Club online! Whether you are new to writing or a long established member, there is something of interest just a click away.

Ayr Writers' Club which was established in 1970, attracts writers from all across Ayrshire, and we are delighted to welcome anyone with an interest in writing.

The Club meets in Prestwick Community Centre, 25 Caerlaverock Road, Prestwick, Ayrshire each Wednesday evening from September to May (7.30pm to 9.30pm). The Community Centre is close to both the railway station and a major bus route, as well as offering excellent parking and access for disabled. Click here for a map of how to get there.

800 Words Ayr Writers' Club published an anthology of work compiled from winning entries from a National Short Story and Poetry Competition organised in 2005 by the Club and from some of the members' own work.
