October brought two exciting book launches for club members Carolyn O’Hara and Stephen Cashmore.
On Saturday 11 October, at The View, Monktonhill, Carolyn delighted an audience of friends and family with readings from her poetry pamphlet, Perspectives. 
The evening was a wonderful compilation of the spoken word, music and refreshments – the cakes were amazing!
Feedback from the audience praised the inspirational words and the emotions Carolyn’s poems conveyed. Congratulations Carolyn.
Stephen Cashmore took over Waterstones in Ayr on Friday 31 October to launch his latest novel As They Grow Older, published by Sparsile Books.
