Ayr Writers’ Club is one of the biggest and most successful writing groups in Scotland.
Whether you have never written before or are a published author, new members and visitors (£5) are always welcome. Why not try a couple of nights – browse the 26-27 programme when available – pick out your favourite evening.

What the club offers
Ayr Writers’ Club offers a lively mix of guest speakers, practical workshops and supportive feedback evenings throughout the season. Our many published and successful members cover all forms of writing, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
We also run a range of club competitions, each adjudicated by experienced writers in their specialist field.
As an associate member of the Scottish Association of Writers (SAW), our club membership allows Ayr members to register for the annual SAW conference.
