Celebrating Another Successful Year
For our annual Awards Dinner, members gathered in The Carlton Hotel for a night of fun, friendship, and good food.
This evening does, however, have two other very important elements: the awarding of trophies and certificates to our prize winners, and the chance to thank our retiring President, before the gavel is handed on to the President/s taking up the reigns for the 2023-24 session.
Nigel Ward, our departing President, was presented with a quaich in appreciation for all he has done to support Ayr Writers over the years, then he passed the gavel on to Carrie Watts and Linda Brown who will now jointly take over the Presidency.
