AYR WRITERS’ past member, and past president, Michael J Malone, launches new book
On Thursday 14th September, one of AYR WRITERS’ CLUB’S best friends, celebrated the launch of his latest book, The Murmurs, in Waterstones, Ayr.
The novel is a psychological thriller filled with mystery, witches, and the supernatural, in a change of direction from his crime titles.
Next week, Michael is also appearing as part of the TIDELINES BOOK FESTIVAL in Irvine, where he will be presenting Writing for Wellbeing, in which he will explore ‘whether we write for our own pleasure or with the aim of publication, putting pen to paper can be a wonderful way to make sense and meaning of both the difficult times and the joy in our lives.’
This event (24th September 2.30 – 2pm) will provide plenty of ideas and tips for how writing can provide a positive outlet for life’s challenges.
