AYR WRITERS’ CLUB members in two events in the Carnegie Library
As part of the Scottish Book Trust’s BOOK WEEK SCOTLAND, Linda Brown and Carolyn O’Hara were both involved in events this year.
On Thursday November 16th Linda, one of our joint presidents, chaired a session entitled A Writing and Reading Adventure with Michael J Malone, in which he talked about his latest novel, The Murmurs.
This was followed by a talk on November 18th called Adventures in Historic Ayr: A conversation of Local Heritage presented by Carolyn based on her social history book ‘OCULEUS’ exploring life in Ayr in 1898.
