Over twenty members, many armed with laptops and/or Kindles, attended Debby’s excellent computer workshop on Wednesday 11th January. Before tea, she gave us a great deal of information about formatting. We heard how to ‘Tight Wrap’ text round picture inserts; how to create a Table of Contents or even an Index without pain; and how to make Page Breaks permanent.
After a well earned cuppa, Debby proceeded to apply this formatting expertise to a Kindle so that we could all become self-published millionaires by next summer.
Throughout, Debby answered our questions and helped us press the right buttons. All this with such patience and humour that not even the most technologically challenged among us failed to learn and enjoy doing so. And she has undertaken to send us all a resume of her talk via email (How do you put an acute accent over the e in resume, Debby?)
