Highlight Talks
Friends of Robert Burns Birthplace Museum continue the regular, free, Highlight Talks.
The next one will be held on Wednesday 8th February 2023, in the Robertson Room.
This week’s speaker, Tom Hughes, who is Museum Officer, in Dumfries and Galloway, presents Yonder Clouden’s Silent Towers: Robert Burns and Lincluden Abbey.
He will explore the importance of the medieval site of the Abbey in Scottish history, and how it inspired several of Burns’ works.
The talks start at 2.30pm and finish at 3.30pm.
