AYR WRITERS’ CLUB member in spoken word line-up at Waterstones
This event was a first for Waterstones, Ayr branch.
Four local poets – two from Alloway, and two from Prestwick – provided a wonderful variety of mainly Scottish poetry, and AYR WRITERS’ member Carolyn O’Hara was one of them.
Simon Lamb, Alan Riach and Ian Robertson were the other participating poets for the relaxed, celebration which was accompanied by wine and shortbread.
The event was well attended by an enthusiastic audience.
