Eighteen AWC members attended the Scottish Association of Writers Conference over 21st-23rd March.
Many of us had submitted entries to SAW’s competitions.
Congratulations to Marion Husband who won the SAW Council Trophy for Flash Fiction for her 1st placed flash African Blackwood
Three members achieved 2nd place : Nigel Ward in the Book Review, Ann Burnett in the Self-Published Book and Linda Brown in the Non-Fiction Article.
Maggie Morton was awarded Highly Commended in the Flash Fiction, and Fiona Johnson was given a special mention for having the best opening line in the Crime Novel category.
