All roads led to Doonfoot for the third readaround of the Ayr Writers’ Club summer season. A warm welcome was provided by Chris as a group of ten, settled down to listen to the evening’s contributions.
As has come to be expected, the variety of pieces read both surprised and entertained. Articles, flash fiction, short stories and chapters from novels kept everyone on their toes with much valuable feedback given.
A wonderful baked cheesecake and a look round Chris’s garden were both enjoyed before the second half of the evening kicked off.
